Your licence to use Meye

By installing or using Meye, you agree to these terms. Ruovia LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the software for lawful personal or commercial work. The software is licensed, not sold; you retain ownership of the content you create.

Free and Pro

The free edition includes capture and editing with the free tier’s export and automation limits. Pro unlocks additional capabilities for the duration of your subscription or under your lifetime licence. A Pro key may be used on up to 3 Macs. Do not resell, share publicly or bypass licence keys or access controls.

Pro purchases, renewals, cancellations and payment obligations are governed by the terms of sale. Refunds are governed by the refund policy.

Your content and responsibilities

Only capture and use content you have the right to use. Obtain any permissions required when recording other people or their information. You are responsible for your captures, edits, generators and the instructions you give external agents.

Do not use Meye unlawfully or infringe others’ rights. Do not redistribute the app as your own or reverse engineer it except where applicable law permits. Keep backups of work that matters to you.

Music Meye writes for you

Music Meye generates for your drafts (the score) is yours to use, including commercially, royalty-free and without attribution to Ruovia LLC.

The instrument sounds Meye plays it with are third-party: Salamander Grand Piano (CC BY 3.0), VS Chamber Orchestra 2 Community Edition (CC0) and GeneralUser GS v2.0. They are licensed for use in music you make with Meye, but you may not redistribute the sound files themselves, for example as a sample library.

Provided as is

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meye is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free operation or compatibility with every system or external service.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ruovia LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits or loss of data arising from use of Meye. Our total liability for claims related to the software is limited to the amount you paid for Meye in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits do not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Ending use and changes

You may stop using Meye at any time. A material breach of these terms may end your permission to use it. Subscription cancellation and access after cancellation follow the terms of sale. Updated terms will be posted here with their effective date.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by Wyoming law, without overriding mandatory protections available under the law where you live. Meye is provided by Ruovia LLC, Wyoming, USA. Questions: [email protected].
